All about Blue!
Blue is the alpha male at our kennel. Blue might just be Josh’s best friend and Theresa is definitely jealous of him. Around the kennel, Blue responds more commonly to “friend” than his actual name.
Blue was our first dog when we decide to be a German Shepherd Breeder in Alaska. He breeds awesome puppies that have a solid structure and big bones and an incredible desire to please.
As a German Shepherd Breeder, I can say with confidence that Blue is what you think of when you think of a German Shepherd Dog. He is large, black and tan, and loyal beyond your wildest imagination.
From the first day he got here, Blue has been attached to Josh’s side. He is gentle and strong. While he keeps young puppies in line, he also shows them the way. His bark is attention getting and his stature is intimidating, but his temperament is reliable and his spirit is warm.
If you look at many of our pictures, you know that Blue loves life in Alaska.
After we got our long haired German Shepherd Puppy Hazel, Blue was the next one we got.
Forevermore, Hazel will be Blue’s wife. They are inseparable and all she does is nag on the poor guy! She loves biting his neck and trying to get a rise out of him. Watching them together is a lot of fun. It’s especially cute to see him go looking for her after a hike without her or a trip to the vet.
When Blue came to us, he had a small body and ENORMOUS ears! He as an adorable German Shepherd Puppy and bonded to Josh right away. He is a sweet boy and his nickname, which he responds to, around the kennel is “friend.”

Important Note About Adoption from a German Shepherd Breeder
Remember, when you are looking for a German Shepherd Dog, don’t go on looks alone. Ask lots of questions about the temperament produced by each breeding.
Blue’s puppies will be different not only in looks, but also in personality with each female he is bred with. We make important distinctions in taking notes about new clients and pairing them with the right litter.
